8:30pm on March 26 is Earth Hour
We live in a beautiful world.
We no longer need hiking boots, sails or heroic amounts of courage to discover it. We have Google Earth, Google Maps and Google Images to explore the personalities of landscape that are as varied and striking as the personalities of their inhabitance. We can live vicariously though perfect stranger's epic adventures via Facebook, Youtube, postcards and documentaries.
But while films, photos and stories can last forever our world is not immortal. Right now it needs a some loving.
It all begins with turning off your lights for one hour, 8:30-9:30pm on March 26.
